Welcome to our blog!

I am not sure how much writing we will do but we will be adding pictures from time to time. We began our blog in Romania where we lived for over nine years. The Lord called us to Romania in 1998 (arriving in Feb. 1999). We had an amazing adventure with Him. He allowed us to see him minister in many ways in Romania. We were able to see first hand political and economic changes but also enjoy its beauty when we were out in the countryside. Checkout the Bucharest and Romania slideshows on this blog.
We are now back in Texas waiting to see what the Lord has planned for us.

Kyle's 19th Birthday and Thanksgiving 11-27-1008

We celebrated Thanksgiving in Greenville TX at Melinda's uncle and aunt's house for the annual Gore family (Melinda's mother's family) gathering. We had a great time seeing uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

This year Thanksgiving fell on Kyle's birthday. He turned 19 years old.

Besides eating some yummy food a family tradition is the ping pong tournament. Melinda's sister, Nancy trying to beat Kyle in ping pong. Kyle won!

Roger and niece, Kimberly watching the tournament.

Kimberly's turn to play...Jordan

Brothers - Jordan and Kyle playing against each other.

Melinda's nephew, Jeremy concentrating while he plays.

After many rounds of playing the final round arrived with the 2006 champion, Jeremy, playing against the 2007 champion, Jordan. In the end Jeremy won.

For 3rd place brothers, Nathaniel and Kyle played against each other. Nathaniel won but Kyle says he has the better head of hair.

The trampoline was a big hit for all ages. Nathaniel jumping with cousins, Kimberly, Victoria and Thomas.

Annabelle, Haley, Victoria, and Rex took a break from jumping for a photo op.

Of course when you get together at family events you must always take pictures of the families.
